Belly Dance Hip Scarves

Each belly dance hip scarf has been hand made in Egypt and beautifully decorated with coins and beads. We have two styles of belly dance hip scarf - rectangular and triangular.

Wearing a hip scarf is usually as simple as wrapping it around your waist and tying the ends together and is usually sufficient for the hip scarves we supply.

You may find that some hip scarves are quite heavy due to the number of coins and beads used. These scarves may slip or be difficult to tie, with coins or beads snagging at the end you are tying. For these scarves you may be better purchasing a decorated pin or broach which matches your hip scarf. You can then simply pin the ends of the scarf together (it helps if you also pin some of the material of your costume underneath the scarf for a better hold).
